Based in North Sydney the organisation are. seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide first class support to their clients. The role. Provide first class technical support and training to clients. Diagnosis, research solutions and resolve complex technical problems. Debug, reproduce customer problems and develop product tools. Implement enhancements, fix bugs and work on new features with developers. Specialise and develop expertise in a range of technical areas. Contribute to knowledge base. Represent the organisation at demos and trade shows. Review, update and produce technical documentation. Support and mentor Junior Support Engineers. Your skills and experience. Relative Degree qualification with 5 or more years software technical support experience. Solid knowledge of Client Server applications, multiple operating systems (Unix, Windows, Mac) networking, and basic relational database concepts. Knowledge and experience with C, C++, also Perl, Python, Ruby or other Scripting languages. (Ability to identify errors in code, bugs etc). Exposure to Visual Source, CVS or other source code management software would be advantageous. Experience of software development environments and life cycle.
