(IT) Support Analyst/Programmer - ECommerce & Back Office IT Support


Market leading financial organisation - strong customer service skills/focus a must. We are looking for a Support Analyst/Programmer to support the E-commerce Back Office IT applications underlying the successful, fast growing platform business. This position participates in all facets of production support development, including problem investigation, systems enhancements, bug fixes, incident management, impact assessments service improvements. The successful candidate will gain apply knowledge of the business processes involved with administering investment portfolios via the Internet. To be considered for this position you must have; experience and knowledge of Java, SQL Sybase or similar RDBMS, WebLogic skills or similar applications Servers, Web based applications and Unix (including Shell scripting). Ideally, you will have; proven problem solving skills customer service focus. Strong communication skills. Ability to work under pressure as part of a team and the flexibility to deal with conflicting changing priorities and multi-tasking.
