(IT) Senior Application Support Engineer - Unix/Windows/Network Management

A leading global IT vendor is seeking a Senior Software Support Engineer to provide in-depth support for network management applications and associated systems. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting network management applications. Responding to escalated support requests and resolving complex technical issues. Identifying and resolving issues relating to installations, upgrades, debugging, and system configuration. Identify product performance issues or difficulties, etc. Essential skills: 6 + years solid experience in networking and/or customer technical support. Strong experience with Unix and Windows operating systems. Demonstrated application support experience. Skills in networking. HP Openview or similar experience would be highly regarded. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
