Test Engineer - Wireless Networking, 802.11, verification Kinetic IT is a specialist Recruiter to the IT and telecoms industries across Australia.The client is an industry leader. They have a current requirement for a test engineer to be involved through the full test activities for systems verification validation of their wireless networking products. These are highly innovative products that will be distributed on a global scale. You will be involved in the full functional, performance, stability and system tests aimed towards UPnP compliance. This will require you to be able to get inside the protocol stacks at all layers. Any experience using TCL/Tk or Perl for development of automated test tools will be highly regarded. Skill Experience Required: Tertiary qualifications in Electronics Engineering or related discipline. Strong demonstratable knowledge of network communications and protocol stacks. Experience with the design and development of test plans and test cases and development of supporting documentation. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with the design and development of automated test scripts, preferably using Perl or TCL/Tk will be highly regarded.
