(IT) Senior Systems Administrator - Windows, Linux & Cisco

Our client is seeking a motivated, energetic and highly capable Windows and Cisco Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. A senior and integral member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring system availability, support and maintenance of Servers and network/communications configuration and support. Sound technical understanding of the following required: PC hardware and software Windows 2000/2003 Server, Active Directory, Exchange Cisco & Juniper networking (Routers, Switches, etc) Red Hat Linux SQL Server administration Knowledge of security protocols, Firewalls (Netscreen) and DBA skills (SQL 2000/2005 and Oracle) also an advantage. CCNP certification desirable but not essential. As this role will see you manage critical 24/7 networks, it is important that you have the ability to work under pressure and the ability to work autonomously. You must have excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus. This role will also require you to be on-call and work overtime (after hours) to support internal systems.
