(IT) Service Delivery Manager


This leading IT services provider offers full life cycle services from business consulting, through integrated solutions to managed and outsourcing services. They are currently seeking a Service Delivery Manager to join their Canberra team to manage the delivery of business solutions services to key projects, predominantly in the federal government sector, including responsibility for the compliance of quality and service delivery metrics, financial performance and operating efficiency goals. The role requires significant relationship management with services staff, Manager in other business centres, sales, contractors, and recruitment agencies. The successful applicant will have significant responsibilities in planning, transitioning and establishing the environment and services as well as formalising team roles, responsibilities, third party contracts and service level agreements. Responsibilities include: manage the implementation of agreed BS solutions. Assist the company and customer Project Manager in resourcing defined opportunities and projects. Work with service delivery teams to manage service delivery to scope of contract and agreed service levels, and to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded. Oversee day-to-day operation of the delivery team(s) and co-ordinate the implementation of solutions. Ensure the successful handover of any projects into the service delivery and support structure.
