(IT) Lead Technical Engineer - Cisco, Telco, Datacomms, LAN, WAN

Our client is a leading IT managed services provider with a large global presence. Due to a period of large growth which has impacted on the network services team leading to extra resourcing, a position has opened up for a Senior Technical Lead to come in and mentor junior members and impart your knowledge and experience for the greater good. Ideally you will come from a strong background of 8 years + experience around networking, encompassing both telecommunications and data communications, both LAN and WAN. Your last 2-5 years will have been involved in the Cisco space. A Cisco accreditation is required. You will have a very process oriented and disciplined approach to network design, and will be able to produce strong technical documentaion and mentor the Junior Engineers around these areas. You will be highly professional, and this will rub off on the team. Strong knowledge of design and handover documentation and standards is a must. This is a great role with an excellent forward thinking organisation. Any security or voice skills be will be warmly received although not essential for the role. You will have excellent communication skills, and although the role will be largely hands on and technical, there will be a good amount of leadership also.
