They are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join there Melbourne based team. The major responsibilities will include, increasing the companies level of activity in the IT industry by building & maintaining long term business relationships. While working closely with technical & product areas to assist with identifying, generating & developing leads as a first step in building up a pipeline & new client base. Exp qualifications expected: proven ability to prospect new business & achieve growth targets. Proven ability to build relationships with customers, external organisations & internal stakeholders. Proven ability to adapt to change. Proven ability to build brand & company awareness in the communities they operate in. Desirable skills abilities: very high level of business acumen in relation to clients needs & business. Tertiary education qualification desirable. Minimum of 3 years exp in related industry. Excellent numerical skills. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of packages. Excellent knowledge of Internet. Knowledge of sales based systems.
