(IT) Business Development Manager

They are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join there Sydney based team. The major responsibilities will include, increasing the companies level of activity in the IT industry by building and maintaining long term business relationships. While working closely with technical and product areas to assist with identifying, generating and developing leads as a first step in building up a pipeline and new client base. Experience qualifications expected: proven ability to prospect new business and achieve growth targets. Proven ability to build relationships with customers, external organisations and internal stakeholders. Proven ability to adapt to change. Proven ability to build brand and company awareness in the communities they operate in. Desirable skills abilities: very high level of business acumen in relation to clients needs and business. Tertiary education qualification desirable. Minimum of 3 years experience in related industry. Excellent numerical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of packages. Excellent knowledge of Internet. Knowledge of sales based systems. Excellent attention to detail.
