(IT) Development Manager - Financial Services

Our client, a leading wealth management company has a unique opportunity available for a talented IT Development Manager. This role will require you to: manage and provide leadership to a group of IT professionals. Train and develop team member capability to improve skills and performance. Ensure that all development and projects utilise our client’s SDLC processes and practices. Build relationships and work with stakeholders. Plan, develop and implement approved system changes. You are required to have extensive experience with project management methodologies, previous leadership experience within the applications development area of a financial services organisation, as well as people management and technical leadership. In addition to responding effectively to the day to day technical challenges, your role will also be consultative in order to adhere and promote adoption and use of company standards and processes. The ideal individual will be articulate, polished and capable of interacting effectively with the business. You will have superior communication skills and an ability to build relationships.
