(IT) Junior Network Engineer

Excellent learning opportunity! Network Engineer. 12 month contract. Cisco Switches/ Routers/TCP/IP! Junior Network Engineer is required for a 12 month contract to join the network and security services team who are responsible for the operational management and provisioning of our client’s network and security services enforcement systems including Cisco, Nokia, Checkpoint and Crossbeam as well as associated services including load balancers, intrusion detection, VPN concentrators and WAN/MAN services. To be successful in this role you will have had at least 1-2 years experience as a Network Engineer. Experience with network switching and routing, preferably on a Cisco hardware platform, routing protocols (EIGRP and BPG), spanning tree and TCP/IP is also a requirement. Demonstrated skills with Cisco and Nokia hardware is highly advantageous. Previous experience working within an ITIL environment is desirable. Excellent communication and problem solving skills are a must. Certification or current coursework with CCNA will assist you in gaining this role.
