(IT) Manager OFDM Team

Seeking an experienced IT Technical Development Manager to Lead a Oracle Financial Services Applications Specialist team. You will be technically competent and assume the responsibility as the application platform owner for OFDM, RAPM and OFSA maintaining the overall application platform vitality. This includes but is not limited to maintaining SLAs, workload management, containment of costs and scope, scheduling and the delivery of successful business outcomes. The team reporting through to this role is responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation and on-going production support of the ETL processes and supporting the OFSA environment. The team use a mixture of software languages and tools including SAS, PLSQL, Cobol and Business Objects. The candidate will work with senior business management to understand desired business outcomes, actively plan and manage resources, deliver major projects and own the solutions. Essential skills experience: extensive technical leadership experience working within IT Experience in designing and developing business solutions (large and complex projects). Strong knowledge of software development life cycles. Broad business experience to be able to understand and deliver to desired business outcomes. Outstanding negotiation, influencing skills. Strong sense of urgency, outcome focused and driven for success. Ability to see the ‘big picture’ in identifying project interdependencies. Workload planning and estimating
