(IT) Network Engineer, CISCO position, CBD based, major IT outsourcer!

Excellent permanent opportunity to work for a global consultancy based in the CBD. Network engineer with CISCO experience sought! Urgent role! The role will involve the following activities. Implementation and support of data network services. Involvement with networking related proposals. Problem analysis and resolution. Technical support to the Network Control Centre. Liaison with carriers and third party suppliers. Resolve network problem resolution with focus on customer s service level requirement and escalation procedures. On-site network support at multiple locations. Install or supervise the installation of equipment installations as required. Ensure management tools are configured to accurately reflect the network Change Control Management for network related changes Maintenance of network related procedures, documentation and standards reference manuals. Preparation of network activity reports. After-hours support as required. Assistance with evaluation of 3rd party products.In addition to these principal responsibilities, the incumbent may from time to time (priorities and workload permitting) be assigned to projects and activities in the other areas. These cases will usually require the Network Services Manager’s approval.Expectations.The Systems Engineer is expected to participate in support of products, business solutions, or business situations under the direction of their Manager.Desired experience.
