(IT) Senior Software Support Engineer - SAN/Storage Management


A leading global company is currently seeking a Senior Software Support Engineer to join their dynamic team ASAP. You will be part of the part of the global support team and will be responsible for applying technical expertise in quickly resolving complex customer issues relating to storage management software, as well as guiding less experienced team members. This will involve attending to escalated customer issues, reproducing problems in a lab, code debugging etc. Essential requirements for this position: minimum 8 years experience in the IT industry, with relevant qualifications Advanced software troubleshooting and problem solving skills Windows 2000 administration, configuration and troubleshooting. Oracle database administration experience. SAN and Storage Array configuration, administration and troubleshooting. Experience with ControlCenter, Openview or similar.
