Our client, a global leader within financial services, is seeking an experienced, dedicated and professional Desktop Support Analyst to join their successful Melbourne team. Your role will be to provide efficient and effective support for up to 2000 internal customers, partners, Manager and staff on a wide variety of desktop and system issues, at all levels of seniority. The core responsibilities of this position will be to diagnose hardware and software faults on PC and Server equipment, and to provide exceptional technical customer service in relation to a variety of desktop issues. This is a Monday to Friday position and some flexibility is required in regards to work hours. To be considered for this opportunity, you will be required to have: 2 years experience in supporting/maintaining a network (preferably from a corporate finance, legal or large corporate background). Strong written and verbal English language skills. Strong technical expertise in supporting Windows 2000 & XP. A broad knowledge of connectivity and cabling infrastructure and installation/configuration of desktop computers and printers. Proven abilities to diagnose hardware and software faults.
