(IT) Network Engineer

$110K Package LAN/WAN Cisco, VOIP and Data Networking CBD Based Our client is a global financial services organisation who are currently seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a minimum of 5 years Voice and Data Communications experience. The role will be varied with project work as well as troubleshooting where you will work in a technically challenging environment. Key responsibilities for this role are: Perform daily system checks and operation procedures. Troubleshooting and incident reporting. Liaise with and co-ordinate internal and external vendor support services in providing solutions. Perform network traffic analysis and provide system management reports to business. Diagnose and resolve system technical problems to agreed service levels. Perform business as usual tasks as well as on going project work. Assist to prepare project plans and project reports. Ensure the timely implementation and documentation of projects. Implement software and hardware upgrades. Develop and maintain clear and accurate documentation and records. Key skills we are requiring: Tertiary education in Electronic Engineering or higher qualification in Computer related course desirable. Ideally have CCNP with Design Experience. Network management and troubleshooting tool experience. Good skills in data networking FR, ATM MPLS and Ethernet and hence a banking background or financial services experience would be well regarded. Experience with VOIP with implementation experience preferred.
