(IT&T) (Pre-Sales) Infrastructure Architect

Global outsourcing group. Elite architecture consulting group. Sydney based. Our client has a long history of successful IT outsourcing services and a global presence spanning over 20 years. The Senior (pre-sales) Infrastructure Architect is a trusted advisor capable of holding effective discussions at C level to advise on trends, benefits and ROI of technology alternatives and design solutions. As part of a small elite team, you will develop major service engagement opportunities to support service revenue targets. Working closely with other technology groups and sales, it is expected that at least a quarter of your time will be spent on chargeable activities. Your background will include infrastructure optimisation, knowledge of data centre issues, dynamic provisioning and charge back, ideally within the banking or government space. Your background as a Senior Architect coupled with technical familiarity of a broad spectrum of technologies including Mainframe/Microsoft and Unix/Linux environments, and data centre operations will be required for the role. Suitable candidates will also be required to travel on a regular basis.
