Skills: Sydney or Wollongong location. Leading edge consulting house. Work with major clients. Secure long term employment. Very negotiable salary package. The environment: work in a large award winning national BI practice delivering BI development projects and ongoing support using several recognised BI tools. Lead Project work for both in house projects as well as for our client s Cognos customer base. Leverage a large ERP and applications delivery centre specialising in BI project and support delivery. Job responsibilities: perform Cognos 8 Architect role in the project team reporting to the Project Manager. Participate in business requirements gathering, analysis, detailed design, technical architecture, implementation and support activities. The role will provide a critical role for the ongoing development of our clients Cognos team. Responsible for the successful delivery of the technical solution and ongoing support as required. Participate in complex and technical problem solving for project and support teams. Provide product knowledge base, share this with project team(s) and mentor more junior staff. Essential skills & experience: Cognos 8 Certification. High level of Cognos technical skills and multidimensional modelling skills. Minimum 3 years Cognos implementation/support experience. Experience in performing Cognos Lead and Architect role in large complex project environments. Strong business experience.
