Position: Senior C# Developer X 2 - Equity Derivatives IT - Hong Kong
Skills: Prestigious investment banking group requires 2 x Senior Developers to join their Equity Derivatives IT group based in Hong Kong. You will join a 3 member team primarily focused on developing GUIs for the Equity Derivative desk. Currently this work is focused on the Index Arbitrage business it will expand later to include the OTC desk. The role involves development & support activities in both the core trading platform (Windows 2000, VC++, COM) & custom GUIs (Windows 2000, C# .NET platform). Main job function: requires hands-on development tied closely with the business unit. Daily interaction with the business is required to translate business requirements into development activities. Strong analysis & development experience in Equity Trading Systems is required. First hand knowledge of the derivatives business is also required. It would ideally suit a strong technologist who has the ability to quickly develop solutions based on business input. Main duties include: analysis, design & implementation of trading functionality per business direction . Co-ordination & joint development with global development team. Provide day-to-day guidance & direction setting to team. Co-ordinate target functionality for each delivery cycle & ensure other team members are progressing towards the goal. Manage the deployment of on-going releases of software. Gathering & prioritizing user requirements. Communication back to Tokyo & London on any requirements from those teams.
