Position: Operations Support & Readiness Role
Skills: Operations Support & Readiness. Work for a major global organisation in a unique role where you will be responsible for supporting the regional network operations. Join a team of supportive and competent individuals. Day to day role: Unix System administration & support of the Unix Servers, including hardware and software installation/upgrade, Shell Scripting, and system performance monitoring. Unix/Sun backups, including tape and disk based backup systems. Design and architecture, performance tuning, performance reporting, and process management. Your experience: strong Solaris administration experience in medium to large environment. Extensive knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, NFS, Kerberos, LDAP. Experience with Shell Scripting and/or Perl Scripting. Strong experience with Micromuse products (Omnibus 3.6, Webtop admin, Impact admin and policy development 3.1, Gateway admin, SNMP v1 and v2, SSM configuration, ISM admin 2.3, probes, precision admin, etc.) Aris administration experience.
