Position: Java J2EE Senior Developer/Team Leader
Skills: Reporting to the Development Manager you will be responsible for: leading, managing and mentoring a team of 6-8 J2EE Developers; providing input into project management to support project scoping, planning & estimating; and technical implementation, best practice methodology, ownership of SDLC and change & release management. Job qualifications; the successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter that is looking for an opportunity to lead a growing team of Developers in a dynamic industry and will have the following qualifications: mandatory must be a J2EE Expert with proven ability to lead, manage and mentor a J2EE software development team. Strong design and development experience within J2EE development frameworks including J2EE design patterns, Hibernate, Web applications (Struts, Spring, WebWorks), XDoclet, JUnit. Experience architecting, designing and developing scalable and maintainable J2EE solutions with Open Source software (esp JBoss, Linux, MySQL). Strong experience through the full SDLC from requirements analysis through to unit testing. Experience with development tools: Eclipse, Ant, Maven. Proven record of delivering projects, particularly projects with complex technical components and technical implementations. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, with ability to work in a client facing and reporting role.
