Skills: * Application support experience essential * Sydney CBD * Live 24/7 trade floor environment The purpose of this role is to provide guidance and expertise for the ongoing support of the key trading application and other applications within Asia Pacific. You will also be expected to increase the effectiveness and speed of some support functions and implement `Best Practice’ standards within the team. Responsibilities * Management and development of the trading support team * Identifying process improvements and communication of these to the IT Manager, Asia Pacific in order to constantly improve the application support model * Provide guidance and direction to the application support team * Monitor all trading related systems as well as other systems that may fall within the scope of the Australian team, and reporting any issues to the correct parties. * Ensure staff is adequately trained, and follow SLA’s and procedures according to company standards Requirements * 5years experience in an IT support services environment. * 2+ years Team Management experience. * Track record of completing tasks within complex environments. * Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. * Ability to meet deadlines and to work well in a team situation. * Experience working with Windows (all flavours), Active Directory. * Experience with SQL and Oracle technologies including scripting. * Strong understanding of networking technologies. * Ability to work under pressure and
