Skills: Our client is urgently seeking an experienced .NET Developer ideally with a minimum of 3 years commercial experience in Microsoft Application development and system analysis. Involvement in large and complex technology organisation is also desirable. The role will assist the PC Applications Services area with: enhancement to current systems. Fault determination and fixing. Provision of technical advice. Other general maintenance activities associated with PC&Web Applications. Support over 30 applications. Technical guidance/ input. It is essential that the successful candidate will also have commercial experience with: delivery of IS including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and documentation. Database design. Microsoft.NET. Visual Basic 6. Microsoft ASP.NET. Microsoft SQL Server 7.0/2000. PVCS Version Manager and/or Visual SourceSafe. Microsoft Reporting Services. JavaScript, exposure to Unix Operating Systems (SUN), Texpress.
