(IT) 5,000 AOL workers on way out
Internet service provider (Isp) AOL is shedding around 5,000 employees from its global workforce in an attempt to cut costs over the next six months.The Time-Warner owned internet company is cutting a quarter of its 19,000 workforce following plans to offer customers email, instant messaging and other services free.
