Position: Senior Applications Support Analyst – Business Intelligence
Skills: An exeptional role within a global leader in the BI space. You will work as part of the core team offering a high level of technical support to Consultants in the field, clients and system integration partners. this is a Senior role and would ideally suit someone with experience of 3rd level support or a Consultant looking for a role that offers the same level of interest and challenge but without the travel aspects of consulting. You will be trained in a cutting edge suite of BI tools and will be the main source of support for Consultants throughout the region. You will bring to the team broad and extremely strong technical skills including Web technology, Web Server administration and support (essential), IIS, WebLogic etc. Solid RDBMS administration (Oracle, SQL Server etc). Good Windows and/or Unix administration. Some application support experience ideally within the Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing market or with financial/accounting applications. Although not essential experience of BI (Business Objects, Cognos, TM1, Brio etc), ETL (datastage, Informatica, DTS) or financial/planning (Hyperion Planning, Peoplesoft, SAP, Cognos EP etc) applications is highly regarded In return you will work in a high profile role and will have challenging and varied work, great career opportunities and a relaxed working environment.
