Position: Security Compliance Consultant
Skills: A highly skilled Information Security Analyst is required urgently. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates to continue a successful info security/technology career with a renowned player in the market place. Primary responsibilities: this position provides senior-level technical support for all security-related issues. Participates in the evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies, information systems security issues, safeguards and techniques. Participates in the evaluation and development of security policy. Identifies regulatory changes that may affect info security policy, standards and procedures. Provides training and assistance for all installed security products. Participates in defining requirements for changes to new and installed security products. Performs security product evaluations. May provide guidance to less experienced staff. Additional responsibilities: review security plans and security requests from all supported business units, develop security plans, as necessary, and monitor contingency resolution and action plan follow-up with business units. Conduct security consultations including risk identification, mitigation and reporting, security planning and risk assessments, projects, systems technologies and vendor assessments. Participate in security meetings and conference calls to discuss issues, changes and procedures on an on going basis.
