Position: IT&T Server Engineer
Skills: The IT&T Server Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all business units within the organisation are operational on a day to day basis for their IT needs including, LAN, WAN, voice, applications and desktop. Additionally the chosen candidate will work in the NOC. The primary function of the role is ensuring the NOC infrastructure is operational according to the high levels of availability required, and that NOC monitoring and escalations are carried out in accordance with internal and customer SLA’s. Responsibilities: IT infrastructure and desktop support actively manage day to day functions as required to maintain the network, Servers and desktops/laptops for all staff. Design, develop and maintain the standard operating environment for all business units. Ensure appropriate backup are completed for all critical data. Support & maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange Servers Work closely with the data team to support & maintain LANs at all sites. Work closely with the Voice team to support & maintain voice services at all sites. Work with appropriate vendors to support WAN connectivity documentation & change management. Ensure all IT&T Infrastructure and services are appropriately document and changes recorded NOC. Responsibilities: ensure availability and operation of NOC infrastructure as required to meet customer & internal SLA’s. What you will need? Education MCSE 2003 CCNA desirable.
