Position: Technical Support Engineer
Skills: Excellent FT/permanent opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer with a broad range of tech skills (C/C++, Perl and/or JavaScript, SQL), business acumen and problem solving skills. This position is a great opportunity to exercise your creative and analytical thinking skills in a job that is both challenging and rewarding. This role will provide extensive technical support to high profile clients with mission critical, revenue impacting applications. You will be involved in advising them on a range of complex business and technical issues. While product support is the team’s main role, the sphere of influence and responsibility extends into the engineering, QA, consulting, documentation and product management teams. Candidate must have experience in all listed skills: excellent customer skills and orientations. Solid TCP/IP, HTTP, NFS and Firewall experience. Oracle, MS SQL and or DB2 Application Server experience. JBoss, WebLogic & Websphere Java & XML. Good technical skills specifically in: C/C++, Perl and /or JavaScript, Unix/Linux, WebServers, SQL. Ability to multi-task. Self motivated learner. Enjoy problem solving.
